COUNTDOWN TO OCTOBER 8, 2016 STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
....................................................................
CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS. PART FOUR
......................................................................
in few hours from now, the highly publicised strategic leadership summit for business executives, corporate and brand managers, scholars, administrators, pastors, gospel ministers, youth leaders, undergraduates and Bible College students, will hold. Just before then, kindly read this:
At the base of every tangible and effective leadership is a productive spiritual lifestyle. The expression that 'the spiritual controls the physical' is not a porous slang, neither is it a dry rhetoric. Rather, it is a statement of fact, indeed, it is the truth. Because there is nothing the man of God can do without the God of man, he, who must therefore speak or lead on behalf of God must receive signals from Heaven, or else, he would be basing his coaching or mentoring enterprise on a shaky platform. Leaders who rely only on what they read from books to instruct others end up being booed. Leaders who rely only on what they can see to direct others, soon slide into naked irrelevance and ultimate extinction. Leaders who stand the test of time are those who are in constant touch with the Master. The perfect example of an effective leader remains our Lord Jesus Christ. And he said:'follow me and I will make you... '. So, leaders who are made are those who are sensitive to His directive and direction. But perhaps more critical to this discourse is John 5.30 . Jesus said:' I can of my own do nothing. As I hear, I judge... ' . In other words, no spiritual audacity, no pontificative leadership. There is therefore, a symbiotic relationship between spiritual leadership and effective prayer structure. So, the prayer that works is not the cosmetic or syndicated one. It is the one that emanates from the spirit. This amplfies the point being made by great leaders all over the world that true and lasting success in life, career and ministry is contingent on a result-oriented prayer lifestyle. Those who do not pray end up being preys in the course of destiny.
To open our eyes to the dynamics of spiritual leadership, and then lead us to pray, is Rev.Ayo Ezekiel. A man of God with an unusual revelation and insight about the potency of prayers, in all its ramifications. I knew this reverend gentleman over 20 years in the great city of Ibadan, Nigeria,. All the way from the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Christian Missionary Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Communicators in Africa and Madagascar and now at the New Covenant Church, it has awesome testimonies, via the instrumentality of prayers. At Ibadan, in the the mid 1990s, we would both go out to strategic locations to pray. Two decades after, we are thanking God, we did!

Countdown to Strategic Leadership Summit 2016
COUNTDOWN TO OCTOBER 8,2016 SUMMIT
..................
CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS. PART THREE
....................................................... ..........
The phenomenon of leadership comes with its numerous demands. One of such major tags is the display of raw courage. Where this feature is lacking, the leader becomes a shadow of himself. Put simply, for others to follow with assurance, the leader must emit liquid confidence precipitated by courage. I find no better illustration of the dynamic power of courage than the graphic example given by the Lord Himself in Joshua 1. In Verses 6, 7 and 9, the Almighty kept telling Joshua to be of a good courage, to be courageous because successful leadership is nested on this quality. Even the reward for effective leadership comes with this grace. This underscores the truth that It is only those who have the lion's heart that take the lion's share. May God make us brave, fearless and valiant to possess our possession in Jesus Name.
.. ....................................................................
To lead us in this discussion on Saturday is a gentleman who has practised the Scripture in this sphere, more than many people. He is a Zonal Coordinator in Church of God Mission International and the Chairman of the Governing Board, Above Only Press, Revd. Wale Ajayi. The charisma he injects into his presentations is always infectious. Please pray and plan very well to be at Benson Idahosa University PG School Lecture Theatre this Saturday , and you will always thank God you came!

Countdown to October 8, 2016 Strategic Leadership Summit
.........................................................................
CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS. PART TWO
.............................................................
Every society or nation passes through one challenging moment or the other in its deveopmental phase and history. And these moments of trial come with different forms of semantic packaging, ranging from economic down-turn to famine and recession, among others. Nigeria is no exception. Our nation is currently in a complicated economic labyrinth, orchestrated and precipated by a number of factors. But then, there is hope, yea, there is a way out. There are things we can do, and must do. Instead of excusing ourselves away and embarking on a ludicrous blame game, we can settle down and apply ourselves to some BOLD ECONOMIC STRATEGIES for a sustainable life, career and ministry. The Bible makes us to know, in Genesis 26, that a similar economic context to the one we are presently experiencing in Nigeria today, was operational in the time of Isaac. Rather than bemoan his fate and leave the country, he responded to a divine prompting and instruction, and he TOOK AN AUDACIOUS STEP in righteousness, by SOWING IN THAT LAND. The result was a surplus, in a season of lack ! You, too, can be the next to testify.
We are privileged to have speak to us, for Thirty minutes, at the October 8 2016 Strategic Leadership Summit, a a God- fearing gentleman who has researh capacity and proofs in this area of economic emancipation. A human bank of financial wisdom. A facilitator of skills training programmes. As Director of Benson Idahosa University Consultancy Services, he collaborated with the World Bank, British Council, Bank of Industry, the Pan African Universiry and EnviroFly UK, among others, to deliver cutting edge and innovative programmes. I am talking about Sam Guobadia, Professor of Economics and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Benson Idahosa University. At the inauguration of the Governing and Academic Boards of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies, earlier in the year, the Bishop of Church of God Mission International, Bishop FEB Idahosa 11 described Professor Sam Guobadia as' a power house of creative ideas'. He is a man you would like to meet, and establish a network with. Whether you are a corpirate/brand manager, seasoned administrator, scholar, full time pastor, gospel minister, a youth leader, church worker, undergraduate or Bible school student, God will surely add to you, via the instrumentality of the conference.
...........................................................................
Therefore, plan to be at the Post Graduate Lecture Theatre, Benson Idahosa University on Saturday, 8 October, 2016 at exactly 9. am. Apart from the fact that this high profile summit is FREE, because it is a ministry, powered by Strategic Partners International, there is also a special package for the first 100 participants to register at the venue. SEE YOU THERE!

Countdown to October 8 2016 Strategic Leadership Summit
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2016
............THE AUDACITY OF LEADERSHIP........
........CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS PART ONE....
............................................................................
Whether in politics, spirituality, ecomomics, and indeed, in everyday life and living, it takes the audacious, not only to make a mark, but also to enjoy overall success. In the Holy Scriptures and of course in our socio-economic and political history, we have seen that leaders who really broke through the garrisson of stagnation, frustration, and failure added audacity to their stamina and decision- making process. Even the phenomenon of faith needs audacity to give it full expression. This broad theme of the summit will be situated within our present-day Nigerian context, in forty five minutes, by someone, any leader would want to listen to.
We are blessed to have in Benin City on Saturday, October 8, 2016, a personification of audacious leadership. Respected in virtually every continent of the world, not just for what he knows, but for what he has seen, handled and communicated. Even as a young lecturer of Political Science at the University of Ibadan in the mid 1980s (when some of us just entered the University), he had started bringing down the roof through his incisive lectures and intellectual discourses and engagements. In the 1990s, he had the privilege of giving personal coaching to some African Presidents, even when such leaders were passing through tempestous moments in their countries. An intellectual colossus who received the highest academic promotion, award and recognition from several ivory towers outside Nigeria, several years before his own country decided to do the same for him.. We are talking about one of the longest serving Vice Chancellors in Nigeria today, Professor Eghosa Osaghae. Because leadership flows in his veins, because he is , on a daily basis, in the theatre/workshop of leadership, as chief executive of a thriving tertiary institution, because he is a reverend gentleman who regularly ministers to God's people, and because the Lord Almighty has blessed him with oratory grace, participants at the summit are advised to start taking notes the moment he opens his mouth, or else, he would have completed his presentation before you start, to write!

The July 13 & 29 Paradoxes
My birthday, July 13 coincides with that of Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye (Mummy G O) while that of my Nephew, Seyi Adejare, an ordained Minister of RCCG, is July 29, coinciding with that of Arcbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa. What a paradox!
The Israel Trip & Anniversariez
My trip to Israel with the President and Vice Chancellor of Benson Idahosa University Benin from the 8th to the 13th of July, 2016 is a testimony. It is a validation of the truth that when God purposes a thing, it cannot be altered.
Even though the take off and the return dates ( ie 8 & 13 July), coincided with my wedding and birth anniversaries, it was a sacrifice worth it.
Praise God.
