New Rector for Benson Idahosa SBAS

One of the blessings of May, 2016, was my appointment as Rector of Benson Idahosa School of Basic and Applied Studies. A very humbling position, with enormous responsibilities. Lord, give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding to lead these great people and great institution. Amen.

APRIL 30 SONG

I sing unto you, Lord, a song of gratitufe, joy and fulfilment. Thirteen years ago, in the city of Ibadan, Majesty Efosa Ighile was born. Glory be to the Almighty for the grace of fatherhood and family mentoring, precipitated by this bundle of favour. I sing unto Daddy, the April song of adoration.

Two Days Ministration @ Faith Arena, Nigeria.

Two of my most fulfiling days so far  in 2016  were January 25 and 26. These  were the days i ministered at Faith Arrena, the global headquarters of Church of God Mission International. I ministered on Lord, Lead Me & Dealing  with the Adversaries of our Open Doors. Glory be to God.

BENSON IDAHOSA UNIVERSITY NOW IJMB CENTRE

December 2015 was awesome for me. It was the month the national body of the Interim Joint Matriculation Board approved Benson Idahosa University as a qualified IJMBE centre to run the programme. I give God the glory.

Studying and Preaching in South Africa

God is awesome. A week after the historic Oyakkhiilome citation, yours sincerely was ministering in the RCCG combined service in Capetown. In a one week study visit to South Africa!

The Oyaakhilome Citation

I bless God for the grace and the door of utterance He has given to us. October 23, 2015 will remain a remarkable day in my life. I thank the Almighty for using Benson Idahosa University to showcase me as the institution's new Orator.

Me and My Mentors' Birthdays

For 22 years running, since 1993, to be exact, when i started relating with Pastor Femi Emmanuel, as Head of Publications, Livingspring Chapel International till date, that i enjoy the privilege of working with Archbishop Margaret Idahosa, both as management staff of Benson Idahosa University, where she is Chancellor, and as Governing Board member of Above Only Press, the Publishing organ of Church of God Mission International, it has been a case of sharing July with my highly -rated mentors. Pastor Emmanuel's birthday is 2nd,  Archbishop Idahosa is 29th. But perhaps, most dramatic, is that of Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, who i also enjoyed the grace of relating with, for more than eight years, in various capacities, such as being the pioneer coordinator of the Department of Christian Religious Studies Redeemer' University, Associate Chaplain of Redeemer's University, Editorial board member of The Trainers Magazine of RCBC and an External Examiner to the School of Post Graduate Studies of the Redeemed Christian Bible College. I share the same day, July 13, with her. Just as i do with the Nobel Prize Winner for Literature, Professor Wole Soyinka. I recall that in Ibadan, in the 1990s, just as it is happening in Benin now, during the last Sundays of July,  Pastor Emmanuel, myself and others, would dance to the pulpit to thank God for the gift of life. What a glory to share the same birthday and birthmonth with your mentors.
